CUPERTINO, CA (PR Buzz) – December 4, 2014 – When it comes to moving data between databases, data mobility is the way of the future and data migration is a thing of the past (and present for that matter). It's easy to compare the two: data migration being a one-way, usually irreversible, process that's undertaken as a one-time or two-project activity and driven by a significant data event, such as data center consolidation or technology acquisition. Data mobility, on the other hand, is a repeatable, easily reversible, bi-directional concept that has been used by storage vendors for moving data between storage arrays in a storage area network (SAN) for years. Data residing inside databases is yet to see the benefits of "true" data mobility, especially over a network.
Shah Rahman, a veteran in networking, telecom, and enterprise software and technology leadership has released a social media enabled eBook on the Aha Amplifier on automating data mobility. This eBook, "Shah Rahman on Automating Data Mobility," contains some tips on data mobility and the automation around it.
A significant advantage of this eBook is the ease of sharing the book’s "Ahas" that resonate with readers via their social network on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+.
Normally $1.99, this book is now available for free for a limited time on the Aha Amplifier: http://bit.ly/ShahRahman-AhaAmp01
Becky Robinson, CEO of Weaving Influence says, "I love the Aha Amplifier. I hope authors everywhere will create Aha Amplifier books to highlight the key ideas from their books. Why? Our society learns from 140-character sound bytes. As fewer people read books, more authors need to share their content in bite-sized bursts. I can't wait to work with every author I know to get their content on the Aha Amplifier platform."
Sign up for a free account on the Aha Amplifier at http://ahaamplifier.com and check it out. The Aha Amplifier helps you increase your influence by amplifying and activating quality Aha moments! Each Aha is sharable via Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Google+, so you can easily share an important idea or statement with thousands (if not millions) of people.
